I was born in Nice in 1989, immersed in creativity. Artistic practices
were not taught so much as inherited, passed quietly through generations.
Shaped by French, Dutch and Togolese heritage — and later by years spent
in South Africa — I have always existed between cultures, between worlds.
That in-between space is where my work lives.
I trained at École d'Art Villa Thiole in Nice, followed by fashion design at
Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris, and interior design at MGM Design.
In my practise, I plan. But when my hand touches the paper, I let go,
and I watch what comes. My palette is instinctive, naive and simple.
I work primarily on paper, in ballpoint pen, watercolour, pastel, acrylic and ink,
guided above all by immediacy.
For me, painting is a form of translation — a way of turning emotions and lived experience into something visible. There is a deliberate naivety in my work,
not as a lack, but as a return — to innocence, to raw emotions, to what is true before thought gets in the way.
